The program aims to accelerate business growth for women with businesses (formal or informal) with at least two years of activity in the market, through workshops and sessions focused on personal development and building a community of infinite growth.
Applications are open until September 1st through the link www.bit.ly/femtech_9 and will consider the criteria of minimum age of 25 years, market activity of at least 2 years (having already generated sales), growth potential and location in the Mozambican market (in any of the provinces).
During four months, the program participants will have access to technical workshops, 1:1 business counseling, clarification sessions on business-related topics (legality, communication, financial management, etc.), interaction with legal entities (BAÚ, AT, INSS, and INAE), and community learning.
FEMTECH is a program focused on growing women’s businesses, and is part of the FEEP – Female Economic Empowerment Program – which is a 3-year initiative, promoted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, to boost women entrepreneurs, their businesses, and the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem.
FEMTECH has graduated more than 150 women from all over the country with businesses in diverse sectors such as food manufacturing, raw material processing, decoration, architecture and urbanism, communication consulting, health and mental health, landscaping, fashion, procurement, and many others.
In addition to Mozambique, FEMTECH is also in Angola, South Africa, Namibia, and Tanzania where the network of femmies provides access to business opportunities, market access, and peer support, boosting the entrepreneurial ecosystem and creating market-relevant partnerships.
