Tânia Tomé explains the responsibilities of being a Member of Forbes Coaches Council

The invitation to join Forbes Coaches Council makes her the first official member of the Portuguese-speaking African Countries of that platform that provides to its members the value pillars, namely, interaction, knowledge sharing, visibility and growth.

“Forbes Coaches Council invited me because they believe and recognize that my work needs to be transmitted around the world,” she began by explaining that she is deeply honored to be part of a community of leaders and entrepreneurs making a difference in the world and have the opportunity to share my expertise and build higher impact coalitions to lead the world.

Responsibilities of an Official Member of the Coaches Council

“As an official member of the Council, I am tasked with sharing my expertise and experience in a wide variety of areas where I am active, and have access to a variety of opportunities where I will collaborate with other respected global leaders in a private forum,” she said.

Tome also said that she will be invited to work with a professional editorial team to share her insights and knowledge in original business articles in Forbes, and also to contribute to expert Q&A panels published with other leaders.

“Right now Forbes just published an article of mine and I am on two more panels as an expert to discuss the Impact of Linkedin and also Preparing Managers and Leaders in the Face of Economic Recessions,” she explained.

Tânia Tomé’s Career and Awards

Tânia Teresa Tomé, a Mozambican national, is an economist, entrepreneur and a motivational speaker who advocates for positive social change, entrepreneurship and the leadership ecosystem. She is also a writer, President of the Womenice Foundation, and a television presenter.

She has won several international awards, most notably the 100 Most Influential Women in the World Award by Mipad and the 100 Most Inspiring Women Award by Magazine Economy in the US.

She was also awarded the Academic Award of Portugal by former Portuguese President Mário Soares, but sees her family and children as her greatest wealth.

Her active work also extends as a global ambassador, mentor, and member of the Jury of several global initiatives, recently standing out as Member of the Jury of the “American Business Award” in the United States, in the Entrepreneurship and Robust Leadership Category.
