Mozambique: Exports register increase in the first semester

This increase results from the combined effect of international market prices and production volume of the main exported products.

Of the exported products, highlight goes to coal, aluminum, heavy sands, natural gas, electricity, dried leguminous vegetables or grain, cashew nuts, pigeon peas, tobacco, bananas, sugar and cotton.

Provisional data from January to June from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIC) shows that in the same period 2021 exports were also concentrated in mining and manufacturing.
