Absa Bank joins IPEME to support women and young entrepreneurs

The partnership between Absa and IPEME was established through the signing of a memorandum of understanding, on the sidelines of the launch of MOZYWEB, in an event witnessed by several personalities, including the Minister of Industry and Trade, Silvino Moreno.

Under the partnership, Absa and IPEME will support the improvement of businesses focused on technology and innovation, which have signed service contracts with anchor clients of the Bank.

The support also consists in enabling young and female entrepreneurs to capture the opportunities arising from the implementation of mega-projects in the country, especially in the area of oil and gas.

This partnership will also trigger initiatives aimed at boosting local entrepreneurship, generating employment and income, creating wealth with a view to a balanced and inclusive development of the communities.
