IMF satisfied with development of the economic sector in the country

The sentiment was expressed after a meeting held with Mozambique’s Minister of Economy and Finance, Max Tonela.

The IMF mission is expected to work for about ten days in Mozambique, and is expected to present an evaluation report on September 16.

The IMF and the World Bank have resumed their support for the State Budget, after a little more than five years of suspension, following the discovery of the Undeclared Debts.
