First natural gas cargo ship already docked in Cabo Delgado

The large draft ship arrived in the country on Sunday and it is believed that it will be able to fill the gas within days.

In contact with “Notícias”, the Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the National Petroleum Institute (INP), Nazário Bangalane, assured that the work of extraction and production of LNG on the floating platform is proceeding according to the established schedule.

Bangalane did not specify dates for the end of this operation, assuring only that when the period of exportation arrives, the Government will share the information with the society.

We still don’t have a precise date for the beginning of the exportation, but as we informed previously, we are in process, he referred.

The Coral Sul floating platform is projected to produce 3.4 million tons of gas per year.
