This is a three-year project that hopes to encompass a total of 180 businesses focusing on the tourism, manufacturing, agriculture, ICT (Information and Communications Technology), health, and transportation sectors.
The project also aims to emphasize youth and women-led businesses, facilitating the establishment of links between these initiatives and large companies, including government entities and non-governmental organizations.
MOZYWEB Program Dissemination Seminar
To this end, the Institute for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises IPEME, recently held, in Maputo City, a seminar to disseminate the project, an event which was attended by the President of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (APME) of Feito Tudo Mal.
On the occasion, Feito Tudo Mal welcomed the initiative and defended that Local Content, besides oil and gas projects, covers several areas where a greater participation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, among others, is expected.
The Deputy Director-General of IPEME appealed to MSMEs owned or managed by Young People and Women and in initial stages to join and take full advantage of this opportunity for the development of competitive and business capacity.
Implementation of MOZYWEB Startup
The MOZYWEB Startup Project will be implemented in Maputo City, Maputo and Cabo Delgado Provinces, providing assistance in structuring, enhancing and financing the internal capacity of MSME’s to provide goods and services to large projects, creating opportunities for Youth, Women and MSME’s to be the local content solution, developing and strengthening youth and women entrepreneurship capable of generating income and employment.
