António Costa impressed with Mozambique’s potential

“Those who visit this fair understand very well the excellence of the products that Mozambique produces and that we would also like to consume. Therefore, besides being able to invest, we can also import products of excellent quality from this country”, appreciated António Costa.

Costa believes that, besides balancing Portugal’s trade balance, we could develop Mozambique, which is of mutual interest. “I was curious to try the varieties of coffee that Mr. President [Nyusi] was showing me,” he emphasized.

He added that among the 100 largest companies in Mozambique, a quarter has Portuguese capital and that there are 1500 Portuguese companies exporting to Mozambique.

“As we can see in this fair, Mozambique’s economic potential is enormous. And the political will of the Mozambican Government to count on Portuguese companies in the development process of this country is unequivocal”, he concluded.
