Forum Mozambique – Turkey: Turkish investments totalled around 93 million dollars

During the Mozambique-Turkey Business Forum, the Turkish business delegation actively participated, aiming to boost crucial sectors for economic development. The president of the Confederation of Economic Associations (CTA) emphasised his aspiration to position Turkey as the main investor in the country.
It is worth noting that in 2022 alone, Turkish investments in Mozambique reached the impressive mark of around 93 million dollars. This makes Turkey one of the top ten investors on Mozambican soil.
During the event, key reforms implemented by Mozambique were discussed, with the crucial support of the Confederation of Trade Associations. These reforms aim to significantly improve the business environment in the country. The intention is to create a favourable scenario that attracts foreign investment and promotes sustainable economic development.
The forum provided a valuable space for the exchange of ideas and experiences, strengthening trade ties between Mozambique and Turkey. The active presence of business leaders and government representatives from both countries signalled their mutual commitment to exploring opportunities for cooperation and growth.

In expressing his desire to see Turkey take a prominent role in investments in Mozambique, the CTA president emphasises his confidence in the country’s potential to become an even more attractive destination for international investors.
