Fura Gems names China Stone as partner in the production of Mozambican rubies

Fura Gems, the world’s leading gemstone mining company, and China Stone announce a global collaboration. Under this agreement, Fura Gems will grant China Stone access to a selection of top-quality rough rubies.

This partnership will result in improved production planning and forecasting for watchmakers, jewelry manufacturers, and retailers.

Fura Gems’ Montepuez mine in Mozambique has gained international recognition,  particularly for the discovery of the extraordinary Star of FURA ruby, which symbolizes Fura’s commitment to excellence and ethical practices.

Through community engagement, environmental conservation initiatives, and responsible mining practices, Fura Gems has taken significant steps in promoting ethical and sustainable production of these mineral resources.
