International Fair in Malawi: Mozambique showcases economic potential and attracts investors

Mozambique’s presence at the 34th International Trade Fair in Malawi highlights the country’s commitment to promoting trade and investment in the region. Organized by the Agency for the Promotion of Investment and Exports (APIEX), Mozambique’s participation aims to explore business opportunities and establish partnerships that will boost the economic development of both countries.

According to information from Rádio Moçambique, the multi-sector fair, which is held annually, has the main objective of developing export markets for local products and services and attracting foreign investment. APIEX is taking advantage of this event to highlight the potential of the provinces of Sofala, Manica and Tete, with the aim of attracting investors and promoting trade between Mozambique and Malawi.

In addition, Mozambique’s participation in the fair demonstrates the country’s commitment to strengthening economic cooperation and regional integration, using preferential market access systems to boost exports and promote Mozambican products on international markets.

The International Trade Fair, organized by the Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, is an opportunity for Mozambique to show the world its competitive advantages and attract foreign investment. With the presence of representatives from 177 companies and countries, the event promises to facilitate contact between international businesspeople and stimulate economic growth in the region.
