Meet the CEO of Vista Bank Mozambique

Following the acquisition of Banco Société Générale Mozambique, Vista Group Holding announced the appointment of Mathieu KONAN as the Chief Executive Officer of Vista Bank Mozambique. Mathieu is a seasoned professional in the banking sector, with nearly 20 years of experience. He holds a strong academic background, including a degree in Statistical Engineering with a specialization in Applied Economics from ENSEA in Abidjan and a Master Grande École from ESSEC Business School in Paris. Additionally, he has earned two prestigious certifications in Advanced Management and Senior Executive Development Programs from MDE Business School and the Instituto BANCO SANTANDER, respectively.

Before joining Vista Bank Mozambique, Mathieu held several leadership positions in renowned financial institutions, such as Société Générale and BNP PARIBAS, as well as banks in the Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa. His extensive experience in the UEMOA and CEMAC regions and his proven track record in banking management make him a valuable asset to Vista Bank Mozambique, bringing new momentum to the group’s recent acquisition.
