MoneyMaker: An irrigation solution to help farmers

The MoneyMaker pumps whose operation does not require any fuel, nor electricity, aim to reduce the time spent on irrigation and at the same time save water, a resource that is sometimes scarce.

“These are low-cost pumps, lightweight, easy to assemble, and with a one-year warranty. In Mozambique we already have many farmers using our irrigation system,” said the Kick Start representative, Silvano Denguei, in an interview to Voice of America, and said that in Mozambique there are about 60,000 farmers using the tool.

It should be noted that Kick Start contributes to poverty reduction in a sustainable way, supporting projects related to agriculture in Mozambique and other parts of the African continent.
