MozParks: Investing in Mozambique is investing in the future of youth

Since 2018, MozParks has led efforts to address youth unemployment, highlighted by the successful launch of the internship program.

With the inauguration of its new headquarters, located in Maputo City, Bairro Triunfo, for the governing body, this significant milestone underlines MozParks’ central role in leading sustainable industrial growth in Mozambique. The Beluluane Industrial Park has consistently attracted substantial investment, thereby promoting economic development and creating numerous job opportunities.

Since its creation in 1999, the B.I.P. has attracted around $2.5 billion in investment and created more than 10,000 jobs, showing dedication to Mozambique’s economic growth.

With more than 1,000 young people benefiting from their first job opportunity, MozParks demonstrates a real commitment to turning intentions into concrete actions. This exemplary achievement has not only benefited young people, but has also inspired other private institutions, such as Hollard Seguros and FNB Mozambique, to join together in creating the MozYouth Foundation in 2023.

MozParks reaffirms its commitment to working with anchor industries such as MOZAL, S.A. and Kenmare Moma Processing (Mauritius) Ltd to create income for one million people in Mozambique.
This act highlights not only the inauguration of MozParks’ new headquarters, but also celebrates the progress that has been made by the company.
