Playground Named Best Communication Agency at COMARP Awards 2025

Playground Mozambique has been distinguished as Best Communication Agency at the 2025 edition of the COMARP Awards – an accolade established in partnership with the Southern Africa Development Community Marketing Association (SADCMA), which recognizes excellence in the fields of Communication, Marketing, and Public Relations in Mozambique. The award was presented during the COMARP Awards ceremony, promoted by the COMARP Forum, an annual event that honors companies and professionals who demonstrate outstanding performance in the sector.

The COMARP Awards 2025 stands as a platform of rigorous evaluation, where agencies, organizations, and individual talents are assessed based on criteria such as innovation, impact, campaign results, creativity, and corporate communication management capacity.

At the same event, the book “The Integrated Power of Communication, Marketing and Public Relations” was also launched. This launch underscores the event’s commitment not only to celebrating excellence but also to fostering academic and practical reflection on the possible synergies between communication, marketing, and public relations.

Being recognized in this corporate category of Best Communication Agency represents for Playground a public acknowledgment of its strategic ability to manage brands and campaigns, as well as its capacity to deliver communications that resonate with both audiences and stakeholders.

In addition to the Best Communication Agency award, the COMARP Awards 2025 also recognized excellence in other areas, such as Best Digital Strategy, Best Institutional Campaign, Best Public Relations Professional, Best Brand Management, and Best Corporate Social Responsibility Project, reinforcing its commitment to valuing the diversity and impact of the communication sector in Mozambique.

Alongside Playground’s recognition, several other organizations of reference were also distinguished. GOLO was named Best Marketing Agency, FDS – Fim de Semana, Best Public Relations Agency, CAETSU – Create Moçambique and Millennium BIM, Best Marketing Campaign, and UBA Bank, Best Social and Corporate Responsibility Action.

Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM) won the award for Best Crisis Communication Management Strategy, while Emotion was distinguished in Internal Communication and Organizational Culture. Meanwhile, Coca-Cola earned the title of Best Commercial Advertising, Karingana shone in Media Relationship Campaign, Be Girl stood out in Social Behavior Change Campaign, and finally, EMOSE was recognized for Best Promotion and Insurance Campaign.
