Sarens and Lalgy sign strategic partnership in Mozambique

Belgian multinational Sarens, which specializes in heavy lift, project transport and crane rental services, has signed a strategic framework agreement with Mozambican transport company Transportes Lalgy.

According to Heavy Lift & Project Forwarding International magazine, the companies will collaborate to strengthen infrastructure development in various sectors in Mozambique, to meet the growing demand for crane rental, heavy cargo, specialized transport and related services.

The partnership will focus on the construction, energy, telecommunications, maritime transportation, ports, oil and gas, emergency response, project cargo, plant maintenance and mining sectors.

Sarens stressed that there is a shared commitment to empowering local communities through skills development programs and knowledge transfer initiatives. The parties aspire to stimulate economic growth and promote prosperity, with ongoing initiatives to support social responsibility efforts, demonstrating the partners’ dedication to making a positive impact.
