The ceremony will be attended by the 350 candidates selected for the stage of training in transforming ideas into business, materialized through the acquisition of skills in human resource management, financial management, taxation and management of production processes.
The candidates selected for this pilot stage are from the City and Province of Maputo, and it is expected that by next November, the program will be implemented on a national scale.
Promoting employment for young Mozambicans
Agora Emprega is one of the components of the Emprega program with the objective of promoting employment in Mozambique, aimed at young people who have a business idea or a project in a startup, micro, small or medium existing company, and who need support and guidance to make it a reality.
It is a window to help micro, small and medium enterprises to grow and create employment opportunities for young Mozambicans, as well as, help young entrepreneurs with a business idea, to create a sustainable business.
Emprega is a Mozambican government program implemented by the Secretariat of State for Youth and Employment (SEJE) through the National Youth Institute.
