Why invest in the Zambezi Valley: Platform launched at FACIM answers

The Director of the Services of Studies and Strategic Analysis of the institution, José Cardoso, also said that the Zambezi Valley Investment Portal contains information inherent to the legislation, fiscal incentives, among others of general interest.

The launching ceremony of this platform took place at the Zambezi Valley Pavilion, as part of the largest business exhibition of the country, FACIM, which is being held at the International Fair and Exhibition Center of Ricatla, in the district of Marracuene, Maputo.

Zambezi Valley invests 200 million in seven factories

At the occasion, the Director of the Services of Studies and Strategic Analysis of Zambezi Valley referred that the institution has invested 200 million of Meticals in the implantation of seven plants of rice and fruits processing in the provinces of Zambezia, Sofala and Manica.

According to Jose Cardoso, this investment is a result of the financing lines that the agency was able to mobilize aiming at dynamizing the agro-processing.

Cardoso also explained that some of the factories are already operating and others are in the process of implementation, with an installed capacity of 7500 tons each.
