The President of the Republic was invited and guided to visit some pavilions, where he interacted with several exhibitors who were able to sell their “fish,” presenting a range of services and products that their companies or institutions have to offer. In a relaxed way, Nyusi received detailed explanations of the core business of the exhibitors.
Meanwhile, the public was not unaware of what was the start of the country’s largest business show, and flocked to the International Fair and Exhibition Center of Ricatla, Marracuene district, Maputo, to appreciate the attractiveness of the stands occupied by companies from various sectors.
Meanwhile, the Rádio Moçambique band, with the voice of musician Wazimbo, toasted the visitors who were arriving minute by minute. The truth is that with the outbreak of Covid-19, FACIM had to reinvent itself, a fact that dramatically lowered not only the number of exhibitors (mainly international) but also the audience for example, a drop of 50% last year.
Also in this context, in a press release, FACIM advanced that expects 50 thousand visitors.
However, with the reduction of restrictions compared to Covid-19, FACIM returned to position itself as a platform not only for exhibition and business, but above all as an opportune space for the consolidation of business relationships and, consequently, a closer relationship with potential customers coming from various points.
Held, this time, under the slogan Industrialization, Innovation and Diversification of the National Economy, exhibitors have from now until September 4th (Sunday) the mission to establish their sales and make their products and services more and more attractive.
