Floating platform still not enough gas for export – INP

Cited by Radio Mozambique, Nazário Bangalane also said that so far there is not enough gas on the floating platform to be exported.

So far, what is known is that the gas will be processed on the platform, stationed several kilometers off the coast, to start being exported in the second half of this year.

This project, with an investment of approximately 7 billion US dollars, will produce and liquefy 3.37 MTPA (million tons per year) of natural gas, using resources from the Coral South reservoir.

In this context, the Italian oil company Eni and the National Petroleum Institute (INP) reaffirmed that the commissioning activities of the floating platform of the Coral Sul FLNG project, in the Rovuma basin, are progressing.
