Mphanda Nkuwa highlighted as one of the continent’s best investments

The Mphanda Nkuwa project took pride of place at the Africa Investment Forum held in Marrakech, Morocco, being recognized as one of the best investments on the continent. The event, brought together investors, governments and companies, providing a crucial platform for promoting investment opportunities across Africa.
The Forum, an initiative dedicated to the continent’s economic growth and sustainable development, highlights projects that meet strict eligibility criteria. Mphanda Nkuwa, submitted to the scrutiny of the Forum’s Investment Committee, was highlighted for its social and environmental impact, as well as its technical, economic and financial viability.
The Mphanda Nkuwa Implementation Office actively participated in the event, presenting details of the project during a special Investment Boardroom session. This platform offered the selected projects the unique opportunity to present their proposals in depth to international financial institutions, export credit agencies and insurance agencies, with the backing of the African Development Bank.

The project, which is part of the sustainable development goals, was supported by the African Development Bank, consolidating its position as an initiative that not only seeks a financial return, but also makes a significant contribution to socio-economic development and environmental sustainability.
Mphanda Nkuwa’s selection among the best investment projects highlights not only the effectiveness of its organizational structure, but also its commitment to aligning itself with the fundamental principles of sustainable development. This recognition is a significant boost.
