Mozambican Entrepreneurs Participate in the 14th US-Africa Business Summit

Organized by the Corporate Councilon Africa (CCA), the Summit will serve to reiterate the commitment of the public and private sectors to consolidate trade and investment between the US and Africa in the face of unprecedented adversity in the health and economic spheres.

According to CTA, the program for this edition will focus on priority sectors for Africa with emphasis on Health, Energy, Infrastructure, Agriculture, and Information and Communication Technology.

The Invest Mozambique Breakfast is scheduled for today, July 21, and will bring together businessmen from Mozambique, the United States, and other African countries, in order to share business opportunities, investments, and partnerships.

A Memorandum is also expected to be signed between CTA and its Moroccan counterpart, the General Confederation of Moroccan Companies (CGEM). These counterpart organizations will organize a business forum in Casablanca and another one in Maputo.

CTA will participate in the US AFRICA SUMMIT Panel with the theme: From Made in Africa to Made with Africa, with the participation of top CEOs and ADB, and will hold meetings with some financial institutions based in CasaBlanca.

Mozambican businessmen will participate in several plenary sessions and sectorial panels, investment forums for Africa, private business meetings, B2B networking, business fair and will establish contacts with representatives of international agencies, including the USA.

Recall that, the 13th US-Africa Business Summit was held from July 27-29, 2021, virtually, because of COVID-19 spreading restriction measures while the 12th Summit was held in Maputo from June 18-21, 2019.

The CCA is a non-profit business trade association founded in 1993 in Washington D.C., USA, with the aim of promoting business and investment between the USA and African countries. It is considered the largest and most important business and business forum between the US and the African continent.
