In a statement, the INP also describes that the provision of an energy source that is cleaner and more accessible is and always will be at the center of the attention of the entire team.
“Although with our eyes set on the energy transition, we want to participate in promoting the country’s development through the sustainable use of existing resources,” the statement reads.
The National Petroleum Institute was created by the Council of Ministers under Decree No. 25/2004 of August 20, as the regulatory authority responsible for the administration and promotion of Petroleum Operations, is a public law company, endowed with legal personality, administrative, financial and patrimonial to carry out petroleum operations in accordance with the relevant legislation, ensuring best practice with competence, technical capacity and impartiality.
