Get to know ENH’s new corporate identity launched by the President of the Republic

This change comes at a time when the energy industry is in a process of transition, requiring a repositioning of business and marketing strategies of companies in the industry, so ENH bet on adjusting its corporate identity to meet the new challenges of the country as well as the industry at national, regional and international level.

Under the slogan “Evolving is natural”, ENH presents a new brand that responds to the need to update its visual identity, considering the vast reserves of natural gas in Mozambique, the prospects for national and global progress as well as the company’s role in relation to the challenges imposed by climate change.

ENH Identidade Corporativa

Thus, the expression of the new corporate identity represents the company’s mission of continuity and evolution. It adopts the blue color of the planet and its design was inspired by hydrocarbon formulas. Its new circular symbol represents the global scope of ENH’s activity, its responsibility to the planet and signals its presence from Mozambique to Africa and from Africa to the World. On the other hand, the new ENH brand is intended to be a source of pride for Mozambique and an inspiration for the world.

Commenting on this change, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ENH, Estêvão Pale, said that “the world is experiencing a just energy transition phase. ENH is positioned to meet the challenges of this evolution, by providing a cleaner and safer source of energy to contribute to industrialization and the creation of prosperity not only for the country, but also for the region and the world.

It should be noted that the previous corporate identity of ENH was adopted at the time of the company’s creation in October 1981, and during its existence, it never underwent fundamental changes, if not when the previous name Hidrocarbonetos de Moçambique was changed to the current Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos, in 1997.
