ABSA Bank promotes Happy Savings Campaign in Primary Schools

One of the top priorities of Absa Bank Mozambique in the axis of its citizenship actions is to translate the commitment to sustainable development, contributing to the empowerment of youth and for a society with adequate levels of education.

The promotion of financial inclusion and strengthening of financial literacy is one way to empower the Mozambican population to develop economically and financially.

In this sense, and following the celebration of the Savings Month, the banking institution has joined several elementary school and has developed lectures aimed at teaching and explaining to 5th grade children the great importance of knowing how to save, how to save, what money is, a Bank, and how they can prepare their future.

Because it is an initiative of great interest and impact, several employees of the bank have joined the actions in order to express their concern in contributing to a new generation that is better informed and has more tools to manage their money.
