The Bank of Mozambique is about to complete the implementation of a new integrated IT system, with the aim of improving the management of national markets and reserves, as well as strengthening security in transactions with state and financial institutions and the Mozambique Stock Exchange.
According to Governor Rogério Zandamela, the implementation of this new mechanism will not only bring operational benefits, but will also strengthen security in financial transactions, contributing to the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing. In addition, the tool will modernize and strengthen the central bank’s technological infrastructure, bringing its activities into line with good international practices.
