The province of Tete recorded a growth of forty-seven percent in the production of mineral coal, exported to the foreign market.
This is the thermal and metallurgical coal produced in the coal basins of Moatize and Marara, by the multinational companies VULCAN, ICVL and Jindal Africa, having contributed to the increase of fixed jobs.
The information was shared, by the director of the provincial service of Infrastructure of Tete, Grácio Cune, in the space Café da Manhã on Radio Mozambique.
“This reveals our commitment to maintain the jobs and the mines in operation. Our challenge is, as time goes by, to increase and recover our production and our commercialization,” he said.
