The Mozambique Chamber of Commerce (CCM) and the Mozambique-United States Chamber of Commerce (CCMUSA) have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at strengthening the business sector and economic cooperation between Mozambique and the United States.

The president of CCMUSA, Onório Manuel, highlighted CCM as a key partner for the sustainable development of both chambers. “CCM, due to its vast experience and strength in the business sector, will be essential in supporting our joint initiatives,” he said.

Manuel emphasized the importance of collaboration in promoting new investment opportunities and improving the business environment. “We hope that this synergy will bring direct benefits to entrepreneurs in Mozambique and the United States, promoting growth in both markets,” he added.

The president of CCM, Álvaro Massingue, also emphasized the need to join forces to support the business communities. “We need to work together to ensure greater involvement in the productive sector, maximizing the impact of our actions,” he stressed.

Massingue highlighted the importance of advocating for policies that support the training of young professionals. “It’s crucial that the two chambers promote training geared to the demands of the market, ensuring that young people have the necessary skills,” he emphasized.

The CCM leader also stressed the need to raise awareness among businesspeople about joining chambers of commerce, reaffirming that these institutions are essential platforms for access to information and business networks.

The synergy between CCM and CCMUSA represents a significant step towards strengthening trade relations and promoting economic development in Mozambique and the United States. With a joint focus on training and investment, the two chambers are positioned to generate a positive impact on their business communities.
