Filipe Nyusi said on the occasion that the security conditions in the districts of Palma and Mocímboa da Praia are guaranteed so that investors, who suspended their activities after the terrorist attacks that occurred in March last year, can return to the district of Palma.
In this context, the President of the Republic called for the oil companies Total and Exxon Mobil, among other investors, to resume operations in area 1 of the Rovuma Basin, in Cabo Delgado province.
“At this moment, our Defence and Security Forces, stabilize the situation in all the affected districts with the return of the populations, being of note the re-establishment of all the sovereign bodies, simultaneously, with the reconstruction of the infrastructures, based on the security levels in line of defence in the perimeter that extends from Palma and Mocímboa da Praia, he assured.
