During three days of the 8th edition of the fair, several activities are scheduled such as exhibitions, workshops, networking, social events and awards where the best exhibitors will be distinguished, with emphasis on: Best Exhibitor(Stand); Best Exhibiting Province; Best Foreign Exhibitor; Best Handicraft Exhibitor.
Held under the slogan: Tourism as a Factor of Economic Revitalization, the International Tourism Fair aims, according to the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Eldevina Materula, to stimulate and involve the public and private sectors, the rural communities to enter into partnerships in order to exploit the tourism opportunities of the region as a destination for the benefit of all.
FIKANI will feature 120 stands and 5000 visitors and expects to welcome local and international tour operators.
Launched in 2013, the International Tourism Fair is an event organized in a joint partnership between the Government of Mozambique and the private sector (Mozambican Federation of Tourism and Hospitality) and constitutes the highest and most prestigious business and meeting point between national tourism companies and institutions with their counterparts from the southern region and other parts of the world.
