ENH: Pande and Temane Gas revenues continue to grow

The National Hydrocarbons Company (ENH) has announced that revenues from the exploitation of natural gas from the Pande and Temane fields in Inhambane province continued to grow last year.

According to the newspaper Notícias, revenues from the sale of gas reached 1.6 billion meticais in 2023. ENH pointed out that, despite the operational difficulties of maintaining equipment and guaranteeing gas sales agreements in force, the oil production project recorded a positive performance.

The oil production agreement involves the development and production of gas resources from the Pande and Temane deposits, as part of the contract to supply the natural resource to South Africa. This agreement is the result of a partnership between Sasol, ENH, Companhia Moçambicana de Hidrocarbonetos (CMH) and the government.
