BCI participated in the Business and Entrepreneurship Fair, promoted by the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce and the Maputo Municipal Council, and held on the 4th and 5th of this month, at the Zoo facilities, in Maputo City, on the occasion of the World Environment Day Celebrations.

The Bank contributed to this event, which had as main objectives: to boost the economic empowerment of the national Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises; to encourage the informal economic operators to progressively move into the formal sector; to establish commercial interchange; to promote business partnerships and services exchange among the different entrepreneurs and businessmen of the Maputo City, as well as to do business, through the sale of products and services.

The Mayor of the capital, Eneas Comiche, inaugurated and visited the fair, accompanied by the entrepreneur Yolanda Fernandes, Vice President of the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce, among other individuals.

The main components of the fair included the exhibition and sale of products and services, in addition to business networking among the different economic agents. BCI, which recognizes the importance of SMEs in the social and economic development of the country, was present, carrying out several actions, including the commercial promotion of its products and services.
